‘PIQ’ is a bold and memorable name, cleverly imagined by Lienert Vineyards, for a wine brand created to sell Piquepoul. Originating from southern France, Piquepoul is a crisp, dry white wine grape variety. With the varietal and low alcohol wine growing in popularity, Lienert saw an opportunity to grow their portfolio and target females seeking light, bright and refreshing white wine.

Cornershop's design solution was to engage the target market with bright, sophisticated and playful packaging; something disruptive and distinct from competitor brands. Taking inspiration from vintage French Riviera posters and Aussie surf lifesaving culture, we created a graphic juxtaposition that stands out on Australian drinks retail shelves and feels at home on our shores.
